Estate Grown, Sauvignon Blanc
From the French words: Sauvage (wild) & Blanc (white) our Sauvignon Blanc is always crisp, elegant and fresh. The Musque clones we grow give it a ripeness without being overly grapefruity or grassy.
The 2022 vintage is our first bottling of a Sauvignon Blanc varietal in almost a decade, produced from new vines planted on our vineyard in 2010 and again in 2017. For this vintage, we added 9% Riesling for smoothness and complexity. At 14.4% alcohol and aged in neutral oak barrels, this wine is crisp and dry, with rich flavors of ripe stone fruit.
The 2023 vintage is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from our estate grown grapes, and has been aged exclusively in a mix of French and American oak for over 10 months, The oak influence gives this wine a nice, rounded mouthfeel, with good spark and noticeable acidity.
