RECIPE: Baked Salmon with Honey Mustard Glaze

Jesse was asked to put together a 5-ingredient recipe for a podcast in which he participated as a guest chef for David Coffaro Winery, and he came up with this simple but delicious recipe for baked salmon.

  • 2 – 8 oz Salmon Fillets
  • 2 Tablespoon of stoneground Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tablespoon of honey
  • 2 Teaspoon fresh Tarragon Leaves
  • 1 Teaspoon Olive oil

Preheat oven to 375ºF. If desired, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy clean up.

Place salmon on prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine mustard, honey, olive oil, and fresh tarragon leaves. Spoon half the mixture over the salmon in an even layer.

Bake the salmon for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and spoon on the rest of the mustard mixture.

Put the salmon back in the oven for 5 minutes or until an instant read thermometer reads 140ºF and fish flakes easily with a fork. (An internal temperature of 140ºF is my personal preference for salmon, but feel free to cook it to whatever temper

We love this recipe because it’s a 30-minute entrée that can be put together quickly after a long workday, but is also something you can serve to your friends at a dinner party. We also like this recipe because it pairs well with our Dry Creek Pinot Noir. We hope you try and like this recipe
