Dave's Cuvee

This field blend of mostly old-vine Zinfandel showcases the round suppleness of the second crop on our estate vineyard and balances ripe fruit with hints of dark cherry, spice and subtle oak, resulting in an easy to sip fruit-forward, smooth wine.

The legend of how Dave's Cuvee came to exist:  When Dave was a boy of twelve in his grandfather's spaceship playing solitaire with his cousins, he never could imagine a future in Sonoma County. By the age of fifteen, he was selling tea cozies to his classmates in order to purchase his bus ticket from old town Bagheria to parts unknown. That was where he met his future wife, Pat, a lollipop and liquor peddler who also was destined for wine country. Together they made the journey over the mountains and across oceans, eventually arriving in the Dry Creek Valley, the new home of Dave's Cuvee.
